The master bedroom is like a treehouse, perched over the backyard tree canopy. Neighbors inlude birds, butterflies and squirrels.
The vestibule and stairs leading to the upper duplex were restored to the original. Local vendors and craftspeople supplied the newel post, treads, spindles, ballisters, and moldings.
The Parlor floor entrance was moved to its original position and fitted with a refurbished salvage door. The original wide plnk floor and a new hanging lamp complete the new old picture.
Inside the lower duplex, the new door has reclaimed space for a living room.
